Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. While experience in cleaning or laundry duties is a bonus, it’s not essential. More importantly, Radius Care is looking for someone who:
- Has flexible availability, including weekends
- Displays good organisational skills and can work independently
- Possesses great attention to detail, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned
- Has a friendly and approachable personality
- Is committed to providing a clean and healthy living environment for residents
- Can understand and follow infection control and hygiene procedures
- Is comfortable completing daily cleaning checklists and reporting when necessary
Key Responsibilities
As a cleaner at Radius Millstream, you will:
- Clean resident rooms, communal spaces, and facility areas according to established standards
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soaps, and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain infection control measures at all times to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Follow a structured cleaning schedule and ensure tasks are signed off on daily.
- Occasionally assist with laundry duties, such as washing, folding, and delivering linens
- Be proactive in identifying any health and safety issues in your work environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support the overall operation of the facility.
