Job Requirements for Breakfast Server Position
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- A morning person with availability for early shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Confident multitasker who can stay calm and organized under pressure
- Physically fit for standing, walking, and carrying trays during service
Responsibilities for Breakfast Server Position
- Greet and serve guests during breakfast service
- Prepare and serve hot beverages, including coffee and tea
- Set up and maintain buffet and à la carte breakfast stations
- Ensure food and beverage areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Attend to guests’ needs with professionalism and a smile
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth morning operations
- Assist in daytime events such as meetings and conferences when required
Other Responsibilities
- Help set up and break down function rooms for banquets and meetings
- Provide food and beverage service to conference guests
- Follow hotel and food safety procedures at all times
- Communicate guest feedback and service needs to supervisors
- Uphold Ascot Park Hotel’s standards of excellence and customer care
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment
